Nikki Jury

Founder, owner & Instructor

Nikki first started Pilates classes when she was 15, at her Ballet Studio, to strengthen her core and to help prevent injuries whilst dancing. She fell in love with the Pilates technique, the flowing movements and loved the changes she was seeing in her body. Nikki knew at that point that she wanted to teach the Pilates Method in a way that was creative and fun, with a perfect mix of mobility & strength, with flowing transitions between each exercise. Nikki completed her Diploma of Pilates Instruction in 2013 through Pilates International Training Centre and started creating the Studio of her dreams in 2014. 

Mindful Movement Studio is all about moving your body from a place of love, to enjoy feeling the strength, flexibility, mobility and the burn. We have a focus on being Mindful during class, to show up and be fully present, so you can give your body the attention it deserves. All whilst having a laugh… life is too serious otherwise.

Qualifications:

– Diploma of Pilates Instruction
– Qualified Barre Teacher

Aimee Lamont

Instructor

As a passionate Pilates student for more than 15 years, Aimee decided to become a Certified Pilates Instructor in 2020 – A dream that was born out of her desire to help people feel more connected to & confident in their bodies.

Aimee’s uniquely nourishing, yet potent style of movement is the ultimate act of self-care. You’ll leave her classes feeling energised, replenished & renewed, both physically & mentally. 

Qualifications:

– Certificate 4 in Pilates Matwork & Reformer

Jess Nichols

Instructor

Jess first discovered Pilates after having a knee reconstruction at 17, using the reformer as part of her rehab. Jess has tried all different types of exercise since then, but has always suffered chronic knee pain, until she came back to Pilates.

Jess love’s how Pilates has changed her relationship with exercise, as well as her mind and body. She create’s a safe space for those who join in her classes, no matter where you are on your wellness journey. Expect full-body workout’s with a burn, with variations to suit every body.

Jess has successfully completed her Certificate IV in Mat Pilates & Reformer through Tensegrity Training, and is now working towards her Diploma in Pilates.

Qualifications:

– Certificate 4 in Mat Pilates & Reformer

Stacey Beaumont

Instructor

Stacey’s passion for movement began at an early age with her first dance class, laying the foundation for a lifelong commitment to fitness. After transitioning from dance, she discovered a new passion for strength and conditioning in the Gym.

In 2017, Stacey expanded her expertise by earning a Certificate III in Fitness, leading her to work in Gyms and specialise in Barre and Pilates. Upon completing her Mat Pilates training with Studio Pilates, she found her true calling in the fitness industry. She was drawn to the strength, low-impact benefits, and fluidity reminiscent of dance, inspiring both her own progress and that of her clients.

Driven by a commitment to ongoing education, Stacey pursued an Advanced Certification in Mat Pilates programming and progressions. Most recently, she completed her Reformer Pilates Certification with Studio Pilates — her favourite modality to date.

Passionate about helping others experience the transformative benefits of Pilates, Stacey is dedicated to guiding her clients toward improved strength, mobility, and overall well-being.

Eloise Burrows

Instructor

Eloise discovered Reformer Pilates while training for a half marathon 4 years ago, as she wanted to find something to complement her training. She fell in love with the Pilates Method so much, that she decided to make it her career.

Eloise loves to incorporate knowledge from her Bachelor of Exercise & Sports Science Degree, to create fun & challenging classes. No muscle is left behind in Eloise’s classes, you will leave class feeling stronger, taller and more in tune with your body. 

Qualifications:

– Certificate in Reformer Pilates

Ash Rothel

Instructor

Ash is a dedicated Pilates Instructor who recently achieved her Diploma of Pilates Instruction with Pilates International Training Centre. After practicing Pilates for over 10 years, she found her passion for movement and wellness, and was inspired to help others experience the same benefits. Ash’s goal is to empower her clients to build strength, flexibility and confidence, both on and off the mat. Outside of Pilates, she works in Marketing for Sanitarium, loves the beach, enjoys surfing, and is always up for a good laugh. Keep an eye out for her in the studio… She can’t wait to share her love for Pilates with you.
